Participation in Ph.D Open day at Culham

 

Representatives of the HiPER project took part in an open day designed to attract young scientists to embark on Ph.D.s in fusion science.

The event took place at the Culham Centre for Fusion Energy on 25th November 2009 and was attended by many science students interested in furthering their research into plasma and fusion science.
The exhibits included stands from many UK universities, the HiPER project and the Culham centre itself.

Many students were keen to talk to members of the HiPER project to understand the existing and future opportunities for young researchers in the laser fusion field.
